Our History
George’s experience in chemical distribution, technical prowess and relationship-building skills, combined with the existing infrastructure of Chris’ business, created a unique synergy that helped the men achieve over $1 million in sales in their first year of operation.
Established in 1991 as a privately owned company, Gilbert & Jones focused on three cornerstones of their business:

As an active participant in the $30 billion U.S. chemical industry, Gilbert & Jones distributes the proprietary brands of leading chemical manufacturers for use in a wide variety of industrial products, including adhesives and sealants, agriculture, automotive, cosmetics/personal care, electronics, food and beverages, municipal, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals, plastics, pulp and paper, soaps and detergents and textiles.
We serve customers throughout New England, including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We ship anode metals and equipment nationwide.
